Day 5 and we're still alive

Well James is still doing good. He seems to have been in more pain the past two days then he has the whole time. But overall he's still good.

I am in shock, Brian's parents forgot to call him on his birthday. They called yesterday and said they had forgotton and by the time they remembered it was his birthday it was too late to call. Um that's bad. They didn't call on my birthday either. oh well ...

I am so excited for our trip to come, I am soooo ready for vacation and super excited about meeting all my friends from cyber land =o)

and Since I didn't post any pictures from easter here...This is what our easter was like...

A very new thing for us, we usualy have extended family to visit with but not this year. it was just us.

The kids and I colored eggs the night before and Brian hid them outside after church. Madilyne was sooo happy to get to pick up "balls" she'd run to one say"oh, ball!" pick it up plunk it in her bucket and then look for more...was super cute. And then when we cut James off from picking up any more he was super cute helping her find the eggs.!

Day 3 and as peachy as could be.

Well they said that day 3 and 4 would be the worst. James is doing fantastic. He even was thankful for his tonisils out during that is something. He's sleeping through the night which is a new thing...I really am diggin this tonsillectomy thing. We'll see what the next few days bring before we do too much happy dancing

The time has come

We will be leaving in about 30 min to go to the hospital for surgery. Remind me again why I am such a chicken butt and have thought about thirty million times that we could put this off a little longer?

...I am such a worry wort. I know he's going to be fine, but it's the whole post op pain thing that we'll have to deal with that I just can't get over. I hate to see them sick, or in pain. I couldn't sleep I kept waking up every hour to make sure I hadn't over slept. Finaly at 5 I just woke up we don't need to leave until 6.

Which brings me to my next point in can an ENT not be taking state insurance patience when they are on the stupid prefereed provider list. That hospital would have been heck of a lot closer to us then this one we are infact going to. For example, Scottish Rite(the said hospital that is closer) is only about 15min away, Paulding where we are going and they are all super nice at so far is 60min away. that's on a good day without traffic.

I'll update on James surgery when we get back. I don't even know when to expect that will be.

The count down begins

We've had a rough two weeks. James had spring break which was good and then the week after I started not feeling well and James came down with an ear infection. I couldn't give him any tylenol or motrin because of his impending surgery...which is on Friday! I've put this off for nearly four years. I just couldn't wait any longer I didn't want his sleeping effected when he starts kindergarden.

Surgery is going to be super early in the morning and it's at a hospital that is an hour an a half away. Madilyne will be spending the night with my Niece and we will be leaving the house at like 4:30 am...

Two weeks after that we are off to Portland for our vacation. We are deffinately looking forward to that!

We have babies...

The kitty that adopted my kiddos had 5 babies last night, she came shooting through our front door and ran into the very considerate don'tyou think...then she proceeded to have her babies. James is tickled and Madilyne keeps knocking on the door saying Kitty...KITTY up. Which I can only translate to kitty wake up I want to smush you..I will post pictures later.

Oh how I wish we had our own house, if we did it wouldn't be a problem to let the kitty and her babies live with us...but right now it's just not possible.

A week full of virus'

Well I got a sinus infection, then I got better...then My computer got a virus, now its better...Then Madilyne, Brian and Myself all got sick's really been a looooooooooooong week!

We are gearing up for our trip to Portland getting very excited. James will be getting his tonsils out before we go we hope. If not he'll get them out when we get back. He should be able to eat better and sleep better after that's done...I'm gonna ask the ENT if there is something he can take out to fix his attitude!

The kids and the kitty who adopted them...

Well last saturday this kitty showed up on our porch. She is ginormously pregnant, yet she thinks she lives with us! She'll come in without a second thought if the door is open. The kids love her to pieces and she lets the kids pester her. So James made me buy some kitty food to feed his kitty...He said he prayed for a Dog but a Kitty will do, someday she can get married to a dog. LOL. Well so now we have this kitty, who is fixin to pop out about 6 babies at what to do? James is in love with her, I am allergic and Madilyne is just I guess we'll be having an outdoor kitty?

Big girl bed and the case of the sickies

Madilyne got her big girl bed on Monday, and then followed with a bout of profuse vomiting. Then Brian came down with it...She slept one night in her big girl bed, the second night she noticed she could get out of bed as she I don't know what we'll do with her now!

She still sleeps in her crib for the night time, and we are trying to get her to sleep on her bed for naps...

I'm a semi free woman!!

okay now that I have that out of my system. Here is the story, I had a WIC apt yesterday. It was insanely long, but while we were there waiting, we ended up getting approached by a Head Start Director at a school that is about 3ish miles from my house, she said she thought he was older but wanted to ask any how, and she asked me how old James was and if he was in school.

When I told her 4 her face lit up! and even brighter when I said that he wasn't in school. Then she asked if I wanted him to be in school..and Yes Brian and I did, it was a decision we had just made the week before. So she signed him up right then and there! He has been on a waiting list for another school forever and he's still not been called, but now I don't have to worry about it.

He started today, we toured and he ate breakfast with his class and then he wanted to just stay so I let him. I had to check him out early today, but tomorrow will be a full day for him. He goes from 8-2 M-F.

I have mixed feelings about it, he's my baby boy and I don't want him to grow up, but I do...aaahhh no one ever told me this would happen!

we took some fun pictures of the kids the other day...Madilyne and James just love to play...We were trying to get a good valentine picture, so we'll have to try again this weekend...but gosh how they are growing up!

A new goal...

We'll I've decided to make the goal to update the blog once a week...we shall see if that happens or not!

I swear that I am the only person in the house who knows how to clean off the scraps of their plate and then rinse the plate...forget putting it in the dishwasher, or even unloading the clean dishes I would just like for once for someone to rinse the plates off!

I am going to bribe James to wash the floors for me today...he seems to like to get all vinegary and wash the makes him happy lol.

A day in the life...

We do alot of playing...maybe even too much playin! haha never too much playing. I am working at home from my computer creating and selling digital scrap book kits. It's fun and very therapudic =o) not to mention the little bit of spending money I make for myself. ..
this is my latest kit...It's fun and best of all I can do it all on the computer and print just one page. Much more cost and time effective for me.

Long time no blog....

I've just been super busy with the kids. Madilyne is more mobile's crazy how fast she can go. I did enjoy my 13+mo of no walking...James was walking at 10mo.

Christmas was good. I did have a reason for not posting so much...I had pictures that we took and used as a gift and I didn't want to spoil the gift...but I just love love love these pictures. They were fun to do.
