Day 5 and we're still alive

Well James is still doing good. He seems to have been in more pain the past two days then he has the whole time. But overall he's still good.

I am in shock, Brian's parents forgot to call him on his birthday. They called yesterday and said they had forgotton and by the time they remembered it was his birthday it was too late to call. Um that's bad. They didn't call on my birthday either. oh well ...

I am so excited for our trip to come, I am soooo ready for vacation and super excited about meeting all my friends from cyber land =o)

and Since I didn't post any pictures from easter here...This is what our easter was like...

A very new thing for us, we usualy have extended family to visit with but not this year. it was just us.

The kids and I colored eggs the night before and Brian hid them outside after church. Madilyne was sooo happy to get to pick up "balls" she'd run to one say"oh, ball!" pick it up plunk it in her bucket and then look for more...was super cute. And then when we cut James off from picking up any more he was super cute helping her find the eggs.!

Day 3 and as peachy as could be.

Well they said that day 3 and 4 would be the worst. James is doing fantastic. He even was thankful for his tonisils out during prayers...now that is something. He's sleeping through the night which is a new thing...I really am diggin this tonsillectomy thing. We'll see what the next few days bring before we do too much happy dancing

The time has come

We will be leaving in about 30 min to go to the hospital for surgery. Remind me again why I am such a chicken butt and have thought about thirty million times that we could put this off a little longer?

...I am such a worry wort. I know he's going to be fine, but it's the whole post op pain thing that we'll have to deal with that I just can't get over. I hate to see them sick, or in pain. I couldn't sleep I kept waking up every hour to make sure I hadn't over slept. Finaly at 5 I just woke up we don't need to leave until 6.

Which brings me to my next point in case...how can an ENT not be taking state insurance patience when they are on the stupid prefereed provider list. That hospital would have been heck of a lot closer to us then this one we are infact going to. For example, Scottish Rite(the said hospital that is closer) is only about 15min away, Paulding where we are going and they are all super nice at so far is 60min away. that's on a good day without traffic.

I'll update on James surgery when we get back. I don't even know when to expect that will be.

The count down begins

We've had a rough two weeks. James had spring break which was good and then the week after I started not feeling well and James came down with an ear infection. I couldn't give him any tylenol or motrin because of his impending surgery...which is on Friday! I've put this off for nearly four years. I just couldn't wait any longer I didn't want his sleeping effected when he starts kindergarden.

Surgery is going to be super early in the morning and it's at a hospital that is an hour an a half away. Madilyne will be spending the night with my Niece and we will be leaving the house at like 4:30 am...

Two weeks after that we are off to Portland for our vacation. We are deffinately looking forward to that!
