I will be going to Portland in May to visit the IL, James hasn't seen grandma in about three years, and madilyne has never seen her...grandpa came for Madilyne's blessing so it's been a little over a year since we've seen him.
We'll be gone for two weeks! super long trip but it will be a nice vacation.

What were you doing 10 years ago? 10 years ago I was 15! I was trying to go to school and take care of my Dad who was very sick. He passed away in July of 97.
What were you doing 1 year ago? 2005 I was trying to balance time with James and Madilyne =o) and taking care of My Mother..who now is able to take care of herself!
Five snacks you enjoy: Hotwings, Chips, salsa, see's candy

I'm a semi free woman!!
JAMES IS IN PRE-K NOW!!!!
okay now that I have that out of my system. Here is the story, I had a WIC apt yesterday. It was insanely long, but while we were there waiting, we ended up getting approached by a Head Start Director at a school that is about 3ish miles from my house, she said she thought he was older but wanted to ask any how, and she asked me how old James was and if he was in school.
When I told her 4 her face lit up! and even brighter when I said that he wasn't in school. Then she asked if I wanted him to be in school..and Yes Brian and I did, it was a decision we had just made the week before. So she signed him up right then and there! He has been on a waiting list for another school forever and he's still not been called, but now I don't have to worry about it.
He started today, we toured and he ate breakfast with his class and then he wanted to just stay so I let him. I had to check him out early today, but tomorrow will be a full day for him. He goes from 8-2 M-F.
I have mixed feelings about it, he's my baby boy and I don't want him to grow up, but I do...aaahhh no one ever told me this would happen!
